Hello!

I'm Katie, a twenty-something teacher and blogger living outside of Washington, DC. I started The Lime Tree as a way to showcase my life and my passions outside the classroom.

Anyone who knows me, I mean really knows me, knows that I have a slightly weird obsession with limes. And what can I say? They perfectly compliment every one of my favorite foods! Whether it's seafood, Mexican, or just in an ice cold beverage, you cannot go wrong with a little hint of lime. Plus, they make everything more colorful!

This blog is a way for me to indulge in some of my favorite things- fashion, beauty, food, and other pretty things! I hope to inspire you to live life beautifully!
